01 — SCOPE
Which orders does this policy cover?
This policy explains the return and withdrawal rules for distance sales concluded between a consumer and Eriş Propellers through the website or other electronic means.
Our shop and product pages help you explore products and request a quotation. A sale is formed when the parties accept the quotation or order confirmation setting out the price, technical scope, delivery and payment terms. A quotation request for which no payment has been collected does not create a return transaction.
Mandatory rights take precedence. This text does not restrict mandatory rights under Türkiye's Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and related legislation. If order-specific pre-contract information or an agreement gives the consumer a more favourable term, that term applies.
02 — STANDARD GOODS
14-day right of withdrawal
When a consumer buys an eligible standard product at a distance, the consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days from delivery, without giving a reason or paying a penalty. Withdrawal may also be exercised between conclusion of the contract and delivery.
- Send a clear withdrawal statement by email or another durable medium before the period expires. A telephone call alone is not a valid withdrawal notice under the applicable rules.
- Prepare the product with all accompanying parts, accessories and documents so that it cannot be damaged in transit. Using the original packaging, where available, is recommended for safe transport; its absence alone does not remove the right.
- The consumer may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the product's nature, characteristics and operation.
03 — MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTION
Components manufactured for your vessel
SCOPE
Contracts for goods prepared in line with the consumer's requests or personal needs fall within a statutory exception to the right of withdrawal. The reason-free 14-day withdrawal right therefore does not apply when the product conforms to the agreed specifications and was prepared specifically for the order, including:
Propellers
Diameter, pitch, blade count, rotation, hub, taper, keyway and material selected for the project.
Shaft & steering systems
Shafts, stern tubes, bearings, couplings, rudder stocks and connections sized for the vessel.
Modified products
Any standard model machined or altered for an order by dimension, bore, connection, class or tolerance.
Important distinction: A standard product sold from stock without customisation is not made to order merely because it is marine equipment. The exception is identified per product in the quotation or order documents.
04 — DAMAGED, INCORRECT OR DEFECTIVE GOODS
Your remedies remain available for custom goods
Statutory defective-goods remedies apply if the delivered product does not match the confirmed technical specifications, the wrong product is supplied, a manufacturing defect exists, or the product was damaged before delivery. These rights are not removed because a product was made to order.
Statutory conditions and proportionality rules apply. Necessary costs arising from the selected remedy are allocated under applicable law. If you suspect transport damage, an incorrect product or a defect, stop using the item and contact us promptly with photographs of the packaging, label and issue. This recommendation does not shorten any statutory claim period.
05 — RETURN PROCESS
Send your request in three steps
- 1Send written notice
Email your order number, product/model code, delivery date and request to [email protected].
- 2Wait for shipping details
We will confirm the return address and a transport method suitable for the product's weight and dimensions. Do not dispatch heavy or oversized components before confirmation.
- 3Hand over the goods safely
Protectively package the product and all its parts, and retain proof of dispatch until the return is complete.
Return shipping
For a reason-free withdrawal, the designated carrier and allocation of return cost are stated in the pre-contract information or order confirmation. Necessary return costs arising from an incorrect, transit-damaged or defective item are not charged to the consumer.
Refunds
Following a valid withdrawal, payments are refunded in the manner and period required by law—generally within 14 days after the notice reaches us—and using a method compatible with the original payment instrument. Your bank's posting time may vary.
06 — BUSINESS AND COMMERCIAL ORDERS
Purchasers who are not consumers
An order placed by a company, trader or another purchaser acting for professional or commercial purposes may not qualify as a consumer transaction. The consumer 14-day withdrawal right does not automatically apply; returns, cancellation, warranty and disputes are governed by the quotation, order confirmation, sales agreement and applicable commercial and obligations law.
